Rift Valley Water Services Board - Procurement of Consultancy Services for Itare Dam Water Supply Project

INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The Government of the Republic of Kenya identified the proposed Itare Dam as on one of the Vision 2030 flagship projects and has therefore prioritized its implementation.

The main objective of the project is to improve water supply and sanitation services in Nakuru Town and parts of the neighboring areas of Rongai, Molo, Elburgon and Kuresoi within the service area of the Rift Valley Water Service Board (RVWSB).

The proposed developments may include:-

  • Construction of Itare dam
  • Construction of Bulk Transfer Tunnel
  • Construction of Bulk transfer Pipelines
  • Construction of Treatment Works
  • Construction of Bulk Distribution Mains and Reservoirs
  • Development of sanitation facilities

RVWSB now requires a Consultant who will, inter alia, be required to:

  • Update the Feasibility studies
    Undertake Detailed Designs and prepare Tender documents for the implementation of the project
  • carry out Environmental Impact assessments (EIA)
  • Coordinate various activities among the stakeholders towards successful development of the project Rift Valley Water Services Board therefore invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in providing the above mentioned consultancy services.

Interested consultants must provide information indicating their experience and professional capability to perform the services. Such information should include a relevant brochure, description of similar assignments executed, availability of appropriate skills among staff, evidence of company registration and tax compliance, and financial and technical resources of the firm.

Expression of interest must be submitted in writing to the address below, preferably in three copies, on or before 10.00AM (local time) on September 12th 2011.

Following evaluation of the Expression of Interest, shortlisted tenderers will be invited to participate in a formal tender in which they will be required to submit detailed technical and financial proposals in a format to be provided.

The Judiciary Provision of Security Services Tender

The Judiciary invites bids from interested Security firms for the provision of security services to its institutions as follows:-

PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES

Tender Documents with detailed information and specifications may be obtained from the Procurement Section on Second Floor, Room 87, High Court Building upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs.5,000/- payable directly to Judiciary Nairobi Court fees A/C No.1116928477 KCB Moi Avenue Branch.

Receipts will be issued by the Cashier at Milimani Law Courts upon presentation of the Banking slip. Bidders are requested to present the receipt to Procurement to be issued with the Tender.

Complete bid documents in plain sealed envelopes marked “Tender No. JUD/2/2011 – 12 for the Provision of Security Services” MUST be accompanied with a Bid Security of Kshs.500,000/= in the form of a Banker’s Guarantee or a Banker’s cheque payable to the Registrar, High Court of Kenya and should be addressed to:-

and be deposited in the Tender Box at the Main Gate of the High Court building Gate No.1 City Hall Way, on or before Thursday, 15th September, 2011 at 10.00 a.m.

Please note that bids submitted late will not be accepted.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the Board Room in the presence of Tenderers
or their representatives who wish to witness the opening process.

The Judiciary reserves the right to accept any tender either in part or wholly and is not bound to give any reason(s) for its action(s).
