Construction of Chemususu Dam in Koibatek District

NATIONAL WATER CONSERVATION AND PIPELINE CORPORATION

INVITATION FOR TENDER

1. National Water and Pipeline Corporation intends to tender for Construction of Chemususu Dam in Koibatek District.

2. The Interested and eligible firms must be registered in Class A in civil works in the Ministry of Water and Irrigation. They may obtain further information, inspect and acquire the tender documents at the National Water Conservation & Pipeline Corporation (NWC&PC) procurement office along Dunga Road in Industrial Area.

3. A complete set of the tender documents may be purchased by the interested firms upon payment of a non refundable fee of KShs. 5,000.00 (five thousand) payable to NWC&PC by way of a crossed bankers cheque, bank draft or cash.

4. The applicant purchasing the tender documents should indicate clearly the physical postal address, and the telephone and telefax numbers, which may be used for correspondents prior to and after submission of the applications.

5. The complete documents shall be delivered to the NWC&CP Tender Box, on or before 2nd February, 2009, at 2.00pm at which time they will be opened in the presence of the applicants who wish to attend.

6. The documents should be enclosed in a plain, sealed envelop and should be marked and addressed as follows:- "TENDER DOCUMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CHEMUSUS DAM"
