Kenya Medical Supplies Agency (KEMSA) Tender Notice

The Kenya Medical Supplies Agency (KEMSA) is a State Corporation established with the mandate to procure, warehouse and distribute medical commodities to all public health facilities in Kenya. The Agency invites tenders as follows:

on normal working days from Thursday, 29th January 2009 between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ksh 5,000.00 (Kenya Shillings five Thousand).

Payment shall be in cash or by bankers cheque made out to KEMSA.

Bidders are invited to a "Pre-Bid Conference" at 10.00a.m. on Tuesday 10th February 2009 at the KEMSA Mombasa Road Depot at which KEMSA's requirements will be clarified.

Completed tender documents, accompanied by a bid security in the form and amount specified in the Tender Documents, in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the right Tender No. and Tender Description as more particularly described in the Tender documents should be addressed and submitted to:

or be deposited in the Tender Box at the Reception on the Ground Floor of KEMSA's Commercial Street Offices in Nairobi on or before 10.00 a.m. on the closing dates indicated against each tender.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter on the same day in the KEMSA Board Room on Commercial Street in the presence of Bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend.

KEMSA reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, and to annul the tendering process and reject all tenders at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring liability to the affected tenderer or tenderers.
