County Council of Kirinyaga Invitation to Tender

The county council of Kirinyaga intends to construct the following projects through the Local Authority Service Delivery Action Plan.

Tender NO CCK/LASDAP/2009/03 - Karuku Bridge
Construction of standard small span concrete bridge composite deck, single span width 4.3m dimension, Karuku Bride across river Rwamuthambi in Mukure Location, Ndia Division of Kirinyaga District.

Tender NO CCK/LASDAP/2009/04 - Karimarni Bridge
Construction of standard small span concrete bridge slab deck, single span width 4.3m reinforcement, Karimaini Bridge across river Ruthu in Mwerua Location, Ndia Division of Kirinyaga District.

Tender NO CCK/LASDAP/2009/05 - Kaima Access Road off E1642
Opening (Earth works) of the last 2km road in Kariti Location, -Ndia Division of Kirinyaga District.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS.

1. Bidders are advised to purchase sets of tender documents during official working hours at a non-refundable fee of Ksh 1000/= (one thousand only) per document at the Country Hall in Kerugoya.

2. Quoted prices must be net inclusive of all relevant government taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings and remain valid for at least 90 days after the closure of the tender notice.

3. Registration certificate from Ministry of Public Works Class E& above.

4. Copies of completion certificate for similar works in the last five years.

5. Copies of qualification certificate for technical personnel.

6. PIN and VAT certificate from KRA.

7. A 2% tender security bid in the form of a banker's cheque drawn in favor of County Council of Kirinyaga must accompany the filled tender documents.

8. Duly completed tender documents in plain sealed envelop marked with
respective tender document Number and name of project, should be returned to Country Hall and placed in the tender box on or before 6th February 2009 at 12.00 noon. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter and the bidders or their representatives are invited to witness the opening.
