Tender No.NYS/T/10/2008-2009 For Sale Of Boarded Motor Vehicles, Plants, Equipment and Unserviceable Stores

The National Youth Service invites bids for sale of Government Motor Vehicles, plants, Equipment, unserviceable office Equipment, Tyres and Miscellaneous stores.

A Complete Tender document containing details of Motor Vehicles, Plants, Equipment and Miscellaneous stores together with general conditions of tendering may be obtained during working hours at procurement office Mechanical and Transport Branch Offices Ruaraka, opposite Utalii Hotel by interested bidders upon payment of Non refundable fee of Kshs. 3,000/ = per bid document, in cash or bankers cheque payable to the Director National Youth Service at the cash Office located on ground floor Administration Block Mechanical and Transport Branch.

A refundable deposit of Kshs. 3,000/= per vehicle and plant and 500/= per lot for other stores will be required and it will form part of the payment for successful bidders. Successful bidders will be required to pay for and collect their items within 14 days from the date of the award.

All items will be sold on "AS-IS- WHERE - BASIS"

Motor Vehicle /Plants and other unserviceable stores may be viewed with prior arrangement with Unit Commanding Officers/Officer-ln-Charge during normal working hours from Monday to Friday during the Tendering Period.

NB: Tenderer's are encouraged to view the Vehicles/Items on sale before Tendering. Complete Tender documents enclosed in plain sealed envelope and clearly marked Tender No. be deposited in Tender Box located at the main entrance, of Mechanical and Transport Branch Administration Block at Ruaraka opposite Utalii Hotel or be addressed to;

So as to reach him on or before 16th April, 2009 at 10.00 am. Tenders will be opened immediately there after in the presence of bidders or their duly authorized representatives/ who may choose to attend at Mechanical and Transport Branch Board room.
