The Drought Management Initiative (DMI), through financial assistance from the 9th EDF (European Development Fund) of the European Communities and implemented in the context of the Arid Land Resource Management Programme (ALRMP), intends to award a supply contract for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 30 fixed VSAT equipment to set up a Wide Area Network for all drought management centres (in 28 districts) established under the Arid Land Resource Management Project (ALRMP).

The tender dossier detailing the technical and other specifications is available free of charge from Monday to Friday on normal working hours from 9.00a.m.to 5.00p.m. from the DMI office located at the address below:

Derogation has been granted on origin of supplies by Head of Delegation, whereby all supplies purchased under this supply contract can originate also from countries not belonging to the Community and/or to the ACP States when the supplies are already in the country, i.e. will not be imported in for the purpose of fulfilling the tender
