Request for Expressions of Interest for Consultancy Services for independent Financial & Technical Audit For Sasumua Dam Rehabilitation Project (Package 1)

The Government of Kenya has received a credit from Agence Frangaise de Development (AFD) for the Nairobi Water and Sewerage Emergency Physical Investment Project (NWSEPIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consultancy Services for Financial & Technical Audit for Sasumua Dam Rehabilitation Project (Package 1), Contract No AWSB/ NWSEPIP/FTA Package 1/09 under the Athi Water Services Board (AWSB).

The services will include quarterly technical and financial audits over two years of the works contract period and a final global audit.

The financial and technical audits shall be carried out in accordance with international practices for financial auditing and quality assurance.

This assignment is open to audit or engineering firms with at least ten (10) years experience in financial or technical auditing and quality assurance, particularly in respect to project implementation processes.

The Athi Water Services Board now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc).

Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures approved by AFD.
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below from 0800 to 1700 hours from Monday to Friday excluding lunch hour (1300 to 1400 hrs) and public holidays.

Expression of interest must be delivered or submitted by electronic mail to the address below by 31st March, 2009 at 12.00 Hours.
