Inter-Diocesan Properties Ltd Prequalification of Building Contractors

The Inter-Diocesan Properties Ltd. Together with IDCCS Ltd, both of the Anglican Church of Kenya intends to construct a 40-50 Bed Guest House and Conference Centre at Milimani area in Kisumu Town as Joint Employers.

The Joint-employers therefore invite eligible and qualified individuals or joint venture firms with proven experience in similar undertakings and duly registered in the relevant category and institutions to submit their proposals for prequalification to undertake the construction of the "Proposed Bishop Okullu Guest House and Conference Centre in Kisumu Town".

Interested bidders must meet the following minimum criteria:-

A. Building and Civil Works.

I. Ministry of Public Works Category D/ or

II. Average Annual Works turnover of Kshs.75 million for the last 3 years and

III. Proof of liquidity of Kshs. 5 million and above in cash, redeemable securities or credit line(s)

IV. Fixed Assets of Kshs. 20 million and above.

B. Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Structured Cabling, Interior Decoration and other Specialized Works.

I. Ministry of Public Works/ Energy/ Water category E and above/or.

II. Average Annual turnover of Kshs. 15 million and above for the last 3 years.

III. Proof of liquidity of Kshs.1,000,000 and above in cash, redeemable securities and/or credit line(s).

IV. Fixed Assets of Kshs. 4 million and above.

The completed prequalification Documents together with a non-refundable application fee of Kshs.1,000/= should be submitted as one (1) original and two (2) copies in a plain sealed envelope(s) clearly marked:- "Prequalification for the Construction of Bishop Okullu Guest House and Conference Centre at Milimani area in Kisumu" and address to

And deposited in the Office of the Property Manager IDP Ltd at 1st Floor Alpha House Kisumu on or before 9th April 2009 at 2:00 pm.

Thereafter the tenders will be opened in the IDP Boardroom in the presence of those bidders who may choose to attend.

Pre-qualified Contractors will be informed within two weeks and will be required to collect the tender documents from the office of the undersigned upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Kshs. 6,000/= per document for Building and Civil Works and Kshs. 3,000 for specialized sub-contract works.
