Regional Centre on Small Arms Prequalification of Suppliers for Goods and Services

Applications are invited from competent firms specializing in the supply of the under listed goods and services to the Regional Centre on Small Arms for three financial years commencing July 2009/10 to June 2011/12. All existing suppliers currently pre-qualified are requested to re-apply and submit the information as indicated in this advert.

Application for pre-qualification may be in any of the following categories listed below, provided documents are submitted separately for each category.
  1. Date of establishment of the firm and the physical location of its Head Office and Branches.
  2. The legal status of the firm.
  3. A copy of the firm's certificate of registration.
  4. The firm must have been in business for at least five calendar years.
  5. Photographs of directors.
  6. Evidence of compliance with relevant regulatory bodies, including Kenya Revenue
  7. Authority, attach income tax clearance certificate for the last three financial years.
  8. Brief history and background of the firm.
  9. Members of key staff, their qualifications and experience.
  10. Names of five top clients and their contacts.
  11. Copy of audited accounts for the last two years.
  12. Any other information that may be relevant to the evaluation exercise.
Prescribed pre-qualification document with detailed information may be obtained from the RECSA Office reception desk, beginning 1 April 2009 during office hours (8:00am - 1:00pm and 2:00pm - 5:00pm on payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 2,000 for the document.

The deadline for submission of the filled pre-qualification document is 15 May 2009.
