2. TENDER NO.MOT/08/20Q8-2009: PROVISION OF CANTEEN SERVICES
The Ministry of Transport invites bids for the Sale of Motor Vehicles and unserviceable government Stores and Provision of Canteen Services as indicated here below:-
(a) Sale of Motor Vehicles, Assorted Scrap materials and Unserviceable Office Equipment, Furniture, Tyres and Miscellaneous Stores.
(b) Provision of Canteen Services at Transcom House.
A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000/=, per Bid document, in cash or Bankers Cheque, payable to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 52692-00200, Nairobi.
A refundable deposit of Kshs. 2,000/= per Motor Vehicle and Kshs. 500/= per Lot for the Unserviceable Stores, will be required and it will form part of the payment for successful bidders.
Motor Vehicles and other Unserviceable Stores may be viewed during normal working hours, with prior arrangements with the Principal Procurement Officer. Eligible candidates for the provision of Canteen Services may obtain documents and inspect the premises with prior arrangements with the Principal Procurement Officer.
Completed tender documents enclosed in plain sealed envelope and clearly marked with the Tender Number and be deposited in the Tender Box provided at the main entrance to Transcom House or be sent to the Permanent Secretary, in the address given here above, so as to reach him on or before March 23rd 2009, at 10.00 am.
Prices quoted must remain valid for a period of Ninety (90) days, from the closing date.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders or their duly authorized representatives, who may choose to attend at Transcom House Annex, Accounts Boardroom.
The government reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, in whole or in part and is not bound to give reason(s) for its decision thereto.
