Tenders are invited from interested eligible bidders for the Proposed Installation of One (1 No.) Lift for the High Court of Kenya at the High Court - Nairobi. Tenderers for these works must be registered with the Ministry of Public Works in Category "F" and above in the Current Building Contractors Register.
Proof of the current registration must be provided. They must also be licensed by the Energy Regulatory Commission. Proof of the current license must be provided:
Tender documents with detailed specifications shall be obtained from Supplies Office 2nd Floor Room 105, High Court of Kenya, City Hall Way, Nairobi, on payment of a non refundable fee of Kshs. 3,100/-for the document. Payments will be made in cash at the cash office on 2nd Floor before 4.00p.m. during normal working hours or a Bankers cheque payable to the Registrar, High Court of Kenya.
Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked "Tender No. 026 NB 801 - JOB NO.0254U" on the right hand corner and bearing no indication of the tenderer should be addressed to:

Tenders should be placed in the Tender Box on 2nd floor, High Court of Kenya, Nairobi, so as to reach the above named address not later than 10.00a.m. on 9th April, 2009
Submitted bids will be opened in the Boardroom on the 2nd floor soon after the closing time in the presence of the tenderers/representatives who may choose to attend. Late bids will be returned unopened.
The tenderer will be required to provide a bid security of Kshs.65,000/- from a reputable bank or Insurance company (in the current list of authorized insurance companies issued by the Public Procurement Oversight Authority - PPOA) located in Kenya valid for a period of 150 days from the date offender opening.
The Government reserves the right to reject or accept in whole or in part any tender and does not bind itself to accept any tender.
