Busia Outgrowers Company Limited, a farmers organization with it's registered offices at Nambale in Busia District invites applications from reputable audit firms for the position of External Auditors for period ending 30th June 2007 and 30th June 2008.
The Company's Annual Turnover for the two years was approximately KSh. 20 million.
Reporting to the Board of Directors and subsequently to the members during the Annual General Meeting, the successful applicant should be able to go through all the financial records of the Company in each financial year for presentation to members during the Annual General Meeting in accordance with the laid down standard.
The applicants must:
a) Be duly registered firm, duly recognized by the Kenya National Audit Office.
b) Provide evidence of having carried out similar services in the last 5 years preferably in an organization in the agricultural sector.
c) Demonstrate ability to complete work under strict time guidelines.
d) Indicate expected remuneration for each financial year, inclusive of all taxes and disbursements.
Applications must be submitted in plain sealed envelop marked "TENDER FOR AUDIT SERVICES" and deposited in the Tender Box at Busia Outgrowers Company Limited Nambale office, P.O. Box 148, NAMBALE so as to be received on or before 5th FEBRUARY 2009 at 12.00 Noon.
Applicants may obtain further information at the above address during normal working hours (from 0800hrs to 1700hrs) from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Firms meeting the above criteria will be advised the results of their applications.
It is notified that the Company reserves the right to reject or accept any application and is not bound to give any reason for such rejection and/or acceptance.
