Ministry of Energy Tender Notice

MOE/ONT/11/2008-2009: Supply and Delivery of Drilling Rig Accessories, Petroleum & Geothermal Equipment and Allied Interpretation Softwares

TENDER NO: MOE/ONT/12/2008-2009: Renovation of part of 24th floor Nyayo House for Energy Tribunal Courtrooms.

The Ministry of Energy invites sealed tenders for the Supply and Delivery of Rig Accessories, Petroleum & Geothermal Equipment and Allied Interpretation Softwares and to undertake renovation of Energy Tribunal offices as described in the tender documents with detailed specifications and Bills of Quantities respectively.

Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information and inspects tender documents at the office of Principal Procurement Officer, Ministry of Energy Room 2 of 24th floor Nyayo House during normal working hours.

A complete set of tender documents may be obtained from the office of PRINCIPAL PROCUREMENT OFFICER on 24th floor Nyayo House upon payment of non - refundable fee of Kshs.3,000.00 for Tender No MOE/ONT/11/2008-2009 and Kshs. 2,000.00 for Tender No:MOE/ONT/12/2008-2009 respectively at the cash office located on the 21st floor of Nyayo House Southwing.

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of tender.

Tenderers must submit bid security as follows:

Tender No:MOE/ONT/11/2008-2009 - bid security equivalent to 1% of tender sum and Tender No: MOE/ONT/12/2008-2009- bid security of Kshs.90,0007= both in form of bank guarantee from a reputable bank.

Completed tender documents should be submitted in plain sealed envelopes marked appropriately Tender No:MOE/ONT/11/2008-2009 and Tender No: MOE/ONT/12/2008-2009 respectively and addressed to:

or be deposited in the Tender Box situated on 24th floor, Nyayo House so as to reach on or before 5th February 2009 at 12.00 Noon.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the main Conference Room on 23rd floor, Northern wing, Nyayo House.

Late tenders will not be accepted. Any canvassing will lead to disqualification of tenderer(s).
