Lake Victoria South Water Services Board now invites interested suppliers to submit sealed bids for Tender No. LVSWSB/19/2008-09 for the supply and delivery of 112 No. Plastic Water Tanks of capacity 5m3, 10 No. Plastic tanks of capacity 10m3, Gutters and associated fittings for rain water harvesting.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information, inspect and purchase Tender documents at the procurement office, Lake Victoria South Water Services Board in Kisumu at the following address

3. A complete set of Tender documents may be purchased by interested eligible Tenderers upon payment of a non refundable fee of Kshs. 5,000.00 (Kenya Shillings Five Thousand only), payable to Lake Victoria South Water Services Board by way of a crossed Bankers cheque or cash.

4. The attention of prospective bidders is drawn to:

a) Tenderers must possess a tax compliance certificate, current trade license and be V.A.T registered

b) Tenderers should not have litigation History

c) Tanks to be supplied should have a quality assurance certificate by KEBs or other recognised standards

d) The bidder should be registered for over 5 years

5. All bids must be accompanied by a security in the sum of 2 per cent of Bid Amount and must be deposited in the locked tender box in the above office on or before 12.00 noon local time on Monday 16"1 February 2009.

6. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who attend at 12.00 noon local time on Monday 16th February 2009 at the offices of the Board.
