Kisii University College Prequalification of Building Contractors

Kisii University College invites applications from candidates who wish to be prequalified to bid for the following proposed projects:-

Proposed Construction of Hostels
Proposed Construction of Lecture Theatres
Proposed construction of a Library
Proposed Construction of Biological and Phsical Sciences Laboratories

Prequalification is open to Contractors who are registered in Category "E" and above in the Current Building Register issued by the Ministry of Public Works. Contractors may bid either individually or as members of a Joint Venture formed voluntarily

Eligible candidates may obtain the prequalification document from the Procurement Office, Kisii University College during normal working hours upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs 5,000. 00 in Cash or bankers cheque payable to Kisii University College. Candidates may bid to be prequalified for one or any combination of the proposed projects as above.

For each application a separate document must be purchased and returned as per the provisions of these instructions.

Applications for prequalification must be submitted enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender name and reference number and deposited in the tender box located at the reception of the Administration Block or be addressed and mailed to:

So as to be received on or before Wednesday the 11th day of February 2009 at 10.00am

Submitted bids will be opened publicly in the Conference Room, situated in the Administration Block of Kisii University College, soon after the above stated closing date and time in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
