Supply of 14 Seater micro bus & 25-30 Seater bus

1. The Ministry of Works & Transport has received funds from the Central government to be used for the acquisition of 14 Seater micro bus (LOT 1) & 25-30 Seater bus (LOT 2).

2. The Ministry of Works & Transport invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of 14 Seater micro bus'(LOT 1) & 25-30 Seater bus (LOT 2).

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Works & Transport and inspect the biding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 8.00am to 4.30pm.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ugshs 50,0007=. The method of payment will be through the bank. The document will be hand picked. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6- Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(a) at or before 11.30am 11th Feb, 2009.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ugshs 2,000,0007= (two million). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(a) at 12.00 Noon 11th Feb, 2009.
