The Town Council of Mtito-Andei wishes to invite bids for road works FY 2007/08 and 2008/09

THE SCOPE OF WORK ENTAILS

• Heavy Grading
• Light Grading
• Drain tinning
• Gravelling

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS;

• Must be registered with the Ministry of roads
• Must be prequalified contractor in lower Eastern region by Ministry of roads
• Must be tax compliant with Kenya Revenue Authority
• Must submit bank statement for at least 2 current years
• Must attach C.V. to prove experience in similar works The bidder is advised to visit and see roads before tendering.

Detailed tender documents can be obtained from the cashier's office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 2000.00

Tender document in plain sealed envelops and marked Tender No. KRB/FY/07/08 and Tender No. KRB/FY/08/09 shall be addressed to;

To reach him or be deposited in the Tender box on or before 18th February 2009 at 12:00 noon.Tenders shall be opened the same day at 2:00pm before tenderers or their representatives who may choose to attend.

The Council reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without giving any reasons for rejection and is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender. Canvassing will lead to disqualification.
