Expression of Interest for Customer Satisfaction Survey

The Kenya Forest Service (KFS) is a State Corporation established by the Forest Act, 2005 to provide for the establishment, development and sustainable management, including conservation and rational utilisation of forest resources for the socio-economic development of the country. The Service has among its customers saw millers and forest adjacent communities.

The KFS is now inviting Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent consulting firms with relevant experience and skills to carry out a survey to assess the level of satisfaction of her customers. Interested bidders should provide information in their EOI indicating their suitability to perform the assignment by show of relevant documentary evidence of past similar accomplishments The details of relevant references must also be given.

Other eligibility requirements include:-

1. Detailed individual or company profile which must include PIN and VAT registration Nos. as well as copy of tax clearance certificate.

2. Names of lead consultants (One of whom must possess at least a masters degree in social sciences), other staff and their qualifications.

3. Details of similar assignments recently undertaken for equally big organizations, including client lists

4. Knowledge of forestry and other environmental issues will be an added advantage.

5. Physical address.

Details of the TORs can be obtained from the Head of Supply Chain Management office on request. The EOI clearly marked: Tender No: KFS/02//2008-2009 - "Expression of Interest, customer satisfaction survey" Do not open before 12.00 noon, 17.02.2009, must be delivered to:-

The documents should be placed in the tender box situated on ground floor reception area of KFS, Headquarters Karura off Kiambu Road so as to be received on or before 17.02.2009 at 12.00 noon. Tenders submitted later than the indicated closing date and time shall automatically be disqualified.

Tender Opening will take place immediately thereafter on the same day in the same building in the Main Boardroom. Tenderers or their representatives who wish to attend are invited to witness the opening.

Kenya Forest Services reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders either in whole or in part and is not bound to give reasons thereof.
