Invitation to Bid for the Supply, Configuration and Commissioning of an Electronic Document Management System.

De Point Consultants Ltd is a third party procure¬ment agent for the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA). We therefore act on behalf of The PPDA.

The PPDA has allocated funds for supply, configuration and commissioning of an Electronic Document Management System and invites sealed bids from eligible bidders.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No 1 of 2003 and The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Regulations No 70 of 2003, and is open to all eligible bidders.

Bid documents in English may be purchased by the interested bidders from the cashier at the address (b) below upon cash payment of a non refundable fee of Ug.shs. 25,000.

The Bid documents will be available to all interested bidders upon presentation of an Original Receipt from 28th January, 2009.

Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked "BIDS FOR SUPPLY, CONFIGURATION AND COMMISSIONING OF AN ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM"

The closing date for receiving sealed bids will be 26th February, 2009 at 11:00 am.
Late submissions will be rejected.

The bids will be opened thereafter at 11:15 am on the same day in the boardroom of De Point Consultants Ltd at plot 30 Hannington Road, Kampala in the presence of bidders or representatives who choose to attend.
