Pre-Qualification for Hardcore and Quarry Waste Transporters

The Town Council of Karuri invites applications from eligible candidates for pre-qualification for hardcore, quarry waste and murrum transportation.

Interested eligible transporters will be required to submit applications in sealed envelopes with the following details:

1.    A copy of the P. I. N Certificate

2.    A copy of the V.A.T Certificate

3.    A copy of the Log Book for the Lorries to be used.

4.    Pay a non-refundable application fee of Kshs. 2,000 at the revenue office at Karuri.

5.    Attach a copy of the single business permit from the respective local Authority.

The envelopes should be addressed to:

Be Delivered and Placed in the Tender Box to the Town Council Offices - Kiambaa on or before 26th January 2009 at 12.00 Noon.

Tenders will be opened the same day at 2.00 P.M. Tenderers or their appointed representatives who would wish to witness the opening ceremony are hereby invited.

The Council reserves the right to accept or reject any tender wholly or in part and does not bind itself to accept the lowest nor give reasons for its decision.
