The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for the following tender:

Provision of Medical Insurance Cover for KNBS Staff

Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from and inspect the tender documents at the office of the Chief Procurement Officer, Room 226,2nd floor, Herufi House during normal government working hours.

A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of non-refundable fees as indicated in the table above, in cash or banker's cheque payable to the Director General, Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, or at the cash office located on 2nd Floor, Herufi House.

Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender number and must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Herufi House, First Floor or be addressed to:

So as to reach him on or before Friday, 6th February 2009 at 10.00A.M. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total bid price from a reputable Financial Institution or Bankers Cheque payable to the Director General and must be valid for 120 days after bid submission deadline. Late bids will be rejected.

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, and must remain valid for 120 days.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of candidates' representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Room on 2nd Floor, Herufi House.

The bureau reserves the rights to accept or reject any tender in part or in whole and does not bind itself to give reasons for its decision
