Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology National Council for Science and Technology Research Clearance and Authorization

The National Council for Science and Technology (NCST) is a statutory institution of the Government of Kenya established by the Science and Technology Act. Cap. 250 of the Laws of Kenya.

It provides machinery for making available to the Government advice upon all matters relating to the scientific and technological activities, and for coordination of research and experimental development together with matters incidental and connected to science, technology and innovation.

The NCST wishes to notify the Public that the Research Clearance and Authorization
function of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology has been transferred to the NCST. This is envisaged to enhance Service Delivery to our esteemed clientele.

Research Clearance and Authorization Application Forms can be obtained from the address below or downloaded from the NCST's website: www.ncst.go.ke.
