Consultancy Work Implementation of an Integrated Management System

Municipal Council of Mombasa appreciates the importance of having good management system as a way of ensuring that Service Delivery is consistent and continually improved. To ensure this the Council would like to implement an integrated management system consisting of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 AND OHSAS 18001.

The Management system will be modeled using the PAS 99:2006 Standard. The Council therefore invites bids from interested Firms/Consultants for the same.

The Lead Consultants should be trained Lead auditor in the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 with accredited institution. He/She should demonstrate ability of having successfully implemented such a management system and at least four years auditing experience in management systems.

Implementation of a management system with the Local Authorities set up is MANDATORY.

Registration with NEMA Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.

Knowledge of Change management implementation leadership and performance contracts is required to drive the implementation.

Interested and Eligible Consultants must submit the following:

1. C.V's of key Personnel indicating Education background, relevant qualifications and experience
2. Copies of Certificates of registration of PIN and VAT
3. Copy of Current Tax Compliance Certificate or Local Authorities
4. Proof of similar services provided to a Local Authority

Completed Documents in Plain, sealed Envelopes clearly marked "Consultancy Work for Implementation of An Integrated Management System" must be Lodged in the Tender Box at the entrance of the Town Hall not later than 12.00 Noon on 3rd February 2009 at which the bid documents will be Publicly opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in the Council's Committee Room or where directed by the Town Clerk
