Request for Expression of Interest to Undertake Valuation of NEMA Assets.

The National Environment management Authority, NEMA wishes to invite suitably experienced and qualified consultants to conduct the valuation of all NEMA's assets within the country.

The objective of the consultancy assignment will be to establish the value of NEMA assets nationally and come up with an up-to-date assets register.

Interested consulting firms are hereby invited to submit their expression of interest in this consultancy assignment.

The expression of Interest documents must be accompanied by the following mandatory requirements for preliminary evaluation:-

• Certificate of Incorporation,
  
• Audited Accounts for the last two years,
• Evidence of financial and human resources capacity to handle this assignment,
  
• Five current clients references,
  
• PIN and VAT Registration certificates,
  
• Details of directors.

The applicants shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of their documents and NEMA will not in any way be responsible for those costs.

The expression of Interest documents should be submitted in plain sealed outer envelope enclosing separate sealed envelope all clearly marked EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR UNDERTAKING VALUATION OF NEMA ASSETS and addressed to:-

NAIROBI

And be deposited in the Tender Box at NEMA Headquarters, Popo Road, off Mombasa Road on or before 28th January, 2009 at 11.00 a.m.

Expression of Interest documents will be opened immediately thereafter at 11.30 a.m. in the Board room in the presence of candidates representatives who choose to attend.

NEMA reserves the right to accept or reject any expression of Interest either in whole or part without giving reasons for either rejection or acceptance.
