Supply of Electronic Equipment Tracking System

1. The National Social Security Fund has allocated funds to be usdd for the acquisition of a brand new Equipment Tracking System.

2. The National Social Security Fund invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of Electronic Equipment Tracking System at NSSF offices.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with t h e open international bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from National Social Security Fund and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 9:00am to 4:00pm on working days.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in ENGLISH may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7(b) and upon . payment of a non-refundable fee of Ugx 100,000. The method of payment will be by cash to NSSF Cashier at Plot 19 Nakasero Road next to South African High Commission. The document will be immediately picked up by a representative of the interested bidder upon payment of the non-refundable fee. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c)at or before 12:00 noon, Tuesday 24th February 2009. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ugx 5,000,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend atthe address below at 7(d) at 12:15pm on 24th February 2009.
