INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION (IFQ)

Tender Name: Provision of External Audit Services

1. The Tanathi Water Services Board hereinafter referred to as "Procuring entity" intends to prequalify Auditing firms for the: Provision of External Audit Services for Water Service Providers (WSPs).

2. Prequalification is open to eligible Registered Audit Firms, recognized by the Kenya National Audit Office.

3. Eligible firms may obtain the prequalification document from Procurement Office, Tanathi Water Services Board, KIDP Building, Kalawa Road, Private Bag, Kitui, Tel.020-8009628, Fax: 044-22108 or 044-22417 E-mail: tanathiwsb@gmail.com:
during normal working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs.2,000.00 in cash or bankers cheque payable to Tanathi Water Services Board.

4. A minimum requirement for Pre-qualification is to have successfully carried out similar services in the last five (5) years.

5. Applications for prequalification must be submitted enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the tender name and deposited in the tender box at the reception of Tanathi Water Services Board, KIDP Building, Kalawa Road, Private Bag, Kitui. or to be addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Tanathi Water Services Board, KIDP Building, Kalawa Road, Private Bag, Kitui so as to be received on or before 2nd February 2009 at 15.00 Hours Local Time.

6. Tenderers may obtain further information at the above address during normal working hours (from 0800 to 1700 hours) from Monday to Friday, excluding Weekends and Public holidays.

7. Firms whose applications will have reached us before the closing date and time will be advised in due course of the results of their applications.

8. Only candidates prequalified under this process will be invited to tender.
