or be deposited in the Tender Box in the reception Area of East African Portland Cement Company Headquarters Main Building, at Athi River off Namanga Road, so as to reach on or before the above mentioned closing dates at 11.00 A.M local time.

Tenderers are required to submit together with the Tender, a Bid Bond issued by a reputable local or international bank or insurance firms approved by Public Procurement Oversight Authority (PPOA). Tenders and bid Bonds should remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of the Tender.

Tenderers or their representatives are free to attend the tender opening at the East African Portland Cement Company Limited Head Office, in the Conference Room immediately after closing at 11.00 A.M on the closing date of the Tenders, i.e. Tuesday 10th February 2009.
